I already had some experience using Premiere Pro before this project, so I didn’t really need to watch the tutorials. I knew how to import clips, trim footage, and add transitions, so getting started was pretty easy. I focused more on improving my editing style and making my cuts smoother instead of learning the basics. Creating the clip went well because I already understood how the tools worked. I worked on keeping good pacing, syncing the audio correctly, and using color correction to make the video look better. I also added some titles and effects to make it more interesting. The biggest challenge was getting the timing perfect between scenes and making sure everything flowed naturally. It took a few tries to get it just right, but once I did, the final result looked clean and professional. My biggest success was how smooth the transitions came out and how good the final color grading looked. Throughout the process, I learned how small adjustments can make a big difference. Even when you know the software, paying attention to details like lighting, audio balance, and clip timing can change how the final video feels. The main takeaway for me is to keep refining my editing style and to experiment with different transitions and effects. I want my edits to look more natural and cinematic. This project will definitely help me with my portfolio because I can apply everything I practiced here like timing, color, and sound to make my future videos look even better.
Here is the full video that I was able to edit during the project.
